Guillermo focuses his practice on Consumer Protection, Commercial Advertising and the Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers. He has more than seven years of experience handling disputes relating to consumer rights and developing resolution strategies for various entities in the financial services sector, with a particular focus on financial consumer protection. He has advised companies in the retail, real estate, insurance, transport and healthcare sectors, both in dispute prevention and in administrative proceedings before the National Institute for the Defence of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI).

He has been part of the Competition and Consumer Protection practices of recognised law firms, including Hernández & Cía. and Muñiz, and has also served in the technical team of INDECOPI’s Summary Consumer Protection Proceedings Adjudicatory Body No. 1, where he participated in the preparation of first-instance decisions concerning business practices.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has undertaken studies in Public Management at Escade Perú.
