Iván advises clients on Consumer Protection Law and Advertising matters. 

He previously worked at INDECOPI for seven years, holding leadership positions in various decision-making teams of Consumer Protection Commission No. 1, specialising in financial, banking and insurance matters. He has also advised domestic companies in the banking, retail and services sectors on consumer protection matters. 

He holds a Law degree from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal and has completed specialised studies in Consumer Protection Law, Advertising and Unfair Competition Law at Universidad del Pacífico. He has completed postgraduate studies in Law, Business and Justice at Universidad de Valencia (Spain). 

He has taught Consumer Protection topics at INDECOPI’s National School and has served as lecturer at the Graduate School of Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola.
