Maryliz focuses her practice on advising businesses on Competition Law, Consumer Law, Advertising and Intellectual Property matters. She has more than seven years of experience advising companies across a range of sectors, including retail, specialised services, educational services and regulated industries, among others. 

She holds a Law degree from Universidad ESAN and has completed postgraduate studies in Law, Business and Justice at Universidad de Valencia (Spain). She has also undertaken postgraduate studies in Competition Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and in Global Administrative Law at Universidade da Coruña (Spain). 

She is co-author of Protección Internacional de la Propiedad Industrial e Intelectual, a chapter in Derecho del Comercio Internacional Peruano (Tirant lo Blanch, Valencia, 2022), and Consumo Digital y Justicia Digital Administrativa en las Relaciones de Consumo, a chapter in Justicia Digital: Avances y Retrocesos (Institución Universitaria de Envigado, Colombia, 2021). 

She serves as Academic Secretary of the Anuario Internacional de Derecho Administrativo Económico y Regulación (Palestra Editores, Lima).
