Michael focuses his practice on complex Administrative and Regulatory matters, as well as advising on licences and other regulatory authorisations in regulated sectors.  

Prior to joining the firm, he served as Legal Coordinator at the Technical Secretariats of INDECOPI’s Commission on Dumping, Subsidies and the Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers, and its Specialised Chamber for the Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers. He also served as a Lawyer at the Technical Secretariat of INDECOPI’s Unfair Competition Commission. 

He holds a Law degree from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, a Master’s degree in Economic Administrative Law from Universidad del Pacífico, and a Diploma in Competition Law from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile). 

In the academic sphere, he is a lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Universidad San Martín de Porres. He has also taught at INDECOPI’s National School for the Defence of Competition and Intellectual Property and has authored various articles published in specialised legal journals.
